Boston College Hoops is making progress with four-star prospect Isaiah Sealy

Boston College men’s basketball has had its work cut out for four-star forward Isaiah Sealy this recruiting season – Top 100 recruits from Springdale, Arkansas.

Yesterday, Sealy announced on Twitter the top four schools that would be considered in exchange for a commitment, which showed Boston College competing with a mix of blue-blooded home states and cross-country programs.

Boston College is entering this recruiting battle as one of the later teams to offer Sealy, which means Boston College recruits Steve Smith and Danya Abrams made significant progress early in their dealings with Sealy.

A top-100 recruit, Sealy has offers from multiple other schools, including Mississippi State, Oklahoma and Creighton. According to the rankings, Sealy is the top player in the state of Arkansas and the 15th small forward in the country. On3 industry ranking.

Smith was an important part of a coaching staff that produced one of the best recruiting classes in the country during his tenure at Florida State, and his impact on the prep school scene is evident in this recruiting effort.

Sealy suits up for Team Thad on the AAU circuit, one of the most well-known teams in the country. Former Team Thad alumni include Duke’s Caleb Foster, Portland Trailblazers guard Bryce McGowens, Los Angeles Lakers guard Jalen Hood-Schifino and New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby.

The first game of the 2024 season will take place on November 4 at the Conte Forum when the Eagles take on The Citadel at 8 p.m. ET.
