A moose eats a former WILX reporter’s pumpkin

FRISCO, Colo. (WILX) – Former WILX reporter Megan Hiler sat front row in front of a family of moose looking for a snack.

A mother and her two children in Frisco, Colorado, jumped Hiler’s fence looking for something to eat. One of the moose came up to the porch where he ate his jack-o’-lanterns. Hiler said she and her fiancé, Spencer Wilson, carved pumpkins for Halloween.

Hiler said a similar incident happened to her last year. She said she never caught the moose in the act, but when she woke up, only the pumpkin stalks remained.
