A teacher in Jabalpur dies by suicide after being allegedly raped by a 50-year-old relative

On Saturday evening, when the victim was going somewhere, a relative took advantage of the situation, took her to a secluded place and raped her.

She received help at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College Hospital in Jabalpur, but she could not be saved.

About 40 kilometers from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh, in the village of Gosalpur, a family member allegedly raped a private school teacher, leading him to attempt suicide. Reports indicate that the 50-year-old resident of the village was a distant relative of the victim and persistently harassed her. On Saturday evening, when the victim was going somewhere, the accused took advantage of the situation and raped her.

The victim, concerned about the incident, immediately ran home and tried to take her own life by taking poisoned pills. Her family became concerned when she didn’t open the door to her room the next morning. When they broke open the door, the victim was found unconscious and was immediately rushed to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College Hospital in Jabalpur, where he was treated but could not be saved.

However, during treatment, she told the doctor the entire incident. According to the victim, the accused lived in the same village as her and abused her for a long time, but she ignored it, following the advice of her family. On Saturday evening, when she was going somewhere alone, the accused threatened her with a knife and took her to a secluded place where she was to commit a heinous crime.
