Two people accused of assaulting a man after a rage incident in CT

Two people are in the face of allegations for alleged assault on a man in North Stonington after an incident of rage last week.

According to the assault report, state soldiers answered on Providence New London Turnpike at 22:50 Connecticut State Police.

The state police said that they were met by a man who suffered a slight face and head injuries. When the ambulance reacted to the stage, the man told the soldiers his version of what happened.

According to the state police, the man said that he was going home from the Groton on Route 184 when he was in favor of a black SUV. At one point, the SUV driver allegedly started slowly and the “brake checked” him many times before he almost stopped, the state police said.

When the man passed SUV, he claimed that the driver began to follow him strictly and flash his road lights. When the man returned home, he claimed that the woman got out of the SUV -Az what he considered a firearm in her hand and approached him after he got out of the vehicle, said the state police.

According to the State Police, the woman allegedly started screaming and said that the man tried to break her off the road. Then the man got out of the SUV -Ai allegedly took care of him to the ground, said the State Police.

According to the state police, the man said he was able to catch a weapon and hit him with a man. The state police said that both people allegedly began to hit the man’s face and head.

The man said he took out the phone to call the police, but the attackers allegedly caught him and fled to their SUV, leaving the area, according to the state police. The gun magazine was left behind, as according to the state police belonged to the BB gun.

According to the State Police, soldiers were able to obtain registration information for SUVs from the witness before they found that he was registered to 59-year-old Monique Duray from Stonington. The vehicle was later found in Mystic, where soldiers identified the attackers as Duray and 63-year-old Scott Keilty from Stonington. They were both arrested.

Duray was accused of disturbing the officer, disordered behavior, disturbing the rescue connection, the third degree assault and the threat of first degree firearms.

The state police said that Keilty was recognized as the one he was leading. He was accused of too close with the intention of intimidation, improper use of road beam lights, disturbing the officer, disordered behavior, disturbing the alarm connection and the third degree assault.

Duray and Keilty were exempt from $ 25,000 bonds and are to appear on February 7 in the new London Supreme Court.
