The police use a Taser for a man accused of stealing a vehicle in the central Lincoln, as the police claims

Lincoln, neb. (Koln) – a man accused of stealing a vehicle at Central Lincoln last week was arrested on Monday.

On January 23, Range Rover 2013 was stolen from Depot & Auto tires near 27. I Randolph Strets around 8:15 am the vehicle was located and recovered the same day.

Lincoln Crime Stoppers Pictures of a suspicious man and information about theft on his website have been published. The victim announced that Range Rover was taken when he was showering in a tire warehouse. The vehicle was unlocked and ran at the time of theft.

Crime Stoppers said that the suspect went to smokers about three hours later and apologized for the theft of Range Rover. When the employee began to question him, he allegedly angry and threatened to damage the vehicle.

Then on Monday a police officer in Lincoln on the streets of 14 and f noticed a man acting suspiciously and wiping the vehicle. The officer approached the man and was identified as 35-year-old Moises Garcia, a man allegedly responsible for the theft of Range Rover.

The officer noticed the “very large knife” holder in Garcia’s Pants’s pocket and instructed him to turn around and raise his hands, but LPD said that he refused to comply even after the arrival of the second officer.

LPD said that both officers deployed their Taser and Garcia was arrested without further problems. The knife was found on the grass.

Garcia was taken to the prison of Lancaster on charges of theft by unlawful taking $ 5,000 or more, having a deadly weapon by a prohibited person and relying on arrest.
