Prayagraj: The terrifying stamp in Maha Kumbh between 1-2 in the morning caused the death of 30 people, with 60 other wounded, according to DIG Mahakumbh, Vaibhav Krishna.

The authorities identified 25 of the dead while efforts are underway to confirm the identity of the remaining five. Among the victims of four comes from Karnatak.

Rescue operations were carried out quickly and the wounded were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Officials evaluate the incident to increase crowd management and ensure security measures during the ongoing religious meeting.

Dig Mahakumbh, Vaibhav Krishna, described the sequence of events in detail, stating “Before Brahm Muhurt, between 1 am to 2 am, a huge crowd gathered at Akhara Marg. For this reason, the barricades on the other side burst, and the crowd ran over admirers, waiting for the holy immersion during Brahma Muhurt. About 90 people were taken to the hospital by ambulances, but unfortunately 30 fans lost their lives. Of these 30, 25 have been identified, and the rest have not yet been confirmed. These include four people from Karnatak, one of the Assam, and one of the Gujarat. Currently, 36 people heal at a local medical university. The situation is now under control. “

To ensure further security, the main minister Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath called Mahamandaleshwar, Saints and Akharas to delay. Confirmed that Amrit Snan Akharas has been safely completed.
