Muscatine woman is in the face of hate crimes for swastika in Latin restaurants

A woman from Iów is facing several hate crimes and a lot of other allegations for allegedly devastating Latin restaurants with swastikas and calling for a threat to bombs to universities.

The Muscatine Police Department arrested Alisa Rilla Nicols Staats on Tuesday. The police identified several Muscatine companies and buildings that were directed, including the Mexican Guadalajara restaurant, Jibaro restaurant, Pete’s Tap Bar & Grill, Muscatine City Hall, Susan Clark Junior High School and Muscatine Community College.

Mayor Muscatine Brad Bark condemned the actions on Post on Facebook, which showed photos of graffiti.

The photos showed several swastikas in the Mexican restaurant Guadalajara and the Jibaro restaurant, which serves food from the US territory Puerto Rico. There was also a message that says: “We don’t want you here.”

Alleged threat of bombs, damage to school building

Staats allegedly did not stop in restaurants.

The authorities were able to trace the phone number to Staats, who allegedly admitted that it had a threat to bombs, in accordance with court documents. Apparently, she allegedly destroyed the university on Sunday with seams and racist comments.

Community College had to temporarily stop classes while investigating the police, in accordance with court documents.

Staats also raised an allegation of harassment after he allegedly told the officer who transports her to Muscatine’s prison that he was a “dead mother” several times, as criminal complaint. Staats allegedly told the officer that he was a pedophile and threatened the officer’s children, according to a criminal complaint.
