Upper Kurram: Commissioner’s assistant (AC) Saeed Manan was injured after the unidentified attackers opened him in the Boshehr region in Upper Kurram, the police said on Wednesday.

According to law enforcement officers, the commissioner’s assistant was present in the area next to the police, when he was the goal. He was immediately transferred to the hospital for treatment.

After the attack, a serious police contingent began searching to send the perpetrators.

This incident occurs after a similar attack in Lower Kurram, in which the deputy commissioner Javedullah Mehsud was wounded during the shooting at the beginning of this month.

However, peace efforts faced another obstacle because of the attack on Manan AC. According to law enforcement agencies, Manan was present in the area next to the police when he was the goal.

He was immediately transferred to the hospital for treatment. After the attack, a serious police contingent began searching to send the perpetrators.

At the same time, the Great Jirga began in commissioners in Kohat to establish a durable room in Kurram.

Advisor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of the Main Minister of Information, lawyer Muhammad Ali Saif, attends Jirg. The congregation also includes the main secretary of Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry and inspector general Zulfiqar Hameed.

Jirga includes military officials, members of the Peace Committee and older tribal ones representing both sides from the upper and lower churrams.

Earlier on January 16, the soldier became a martyr, while six terrorists died after the security forces took revenge on an attack on a convoy for help carrying the necessary goods for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa district in the Kurram district.

In connection with constant efforts to restore normality to the district, in accordance with the peace agreement between fighting tribes, a senior government official Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the beginning of this week he promised that the contract would be implemented “at all costs”.

“The implementation of a peace agreement will be possible thanks to the cooperation of both parties (after a truce convened on January 1),” said the main secretary of KP Chaudhry.

Meanwhile, local residents recently began to experience relief, because the prices of necessary foodstuffs began to alleviate after arrival of help convoys.

The price decrease in connection with constant efforts to relieve difficulties caused by long -term closures and supply shortages.

The recent arrival of a large vehicle transporting vegetables has also reduced prices on local markets.
