A man hospitalized after a fire destroys Jackson Home

Jackson, Mi – Jackson’s house was destroyed, and the man was wounded early on Monday morning, when a fire broke out somewhere before the residence.

The fire brigade crews were called at 2:30 on February 3, home in the 300 North Forbes Street block for a reported house fire, said Captain Jackson Fire Ryan Hendricks.

Hendricks said the crews came to find a one -story family residence with flames from the porch and living room.

One of the two residents of the house was able to evacuate the residence. The fire brigade crews had to save another person. The rescued man was taken to Henry’s hospital Ford Jackson for emergency treatment. His condition is unknown, said Hendricks.

Hendricks said that the crews were able to suppress fire, but not earlier than the fire caused significant damage to the house, which was considered a complete loss.

Hendricks said that the cause of the fire is examined.
