Grape restrictions repealed in Delhi -NCR, stages 1 and 2 continue – check what is allowed, which is not – news from India

The Air Quality Management Commission (CAQM) on Monday (February 3) raised the stage III of the graduated response action plan (grapes) throughout Delhi-NCR, with immediate effect. However, according to the latest CAQM report, they will remain in stage I and II, according to the latest CAQM report.

Stage III of the grape was implemented in Delhi on January 31, after a significant deterioration of air quality due to calm winds and smog, which caused an increase in the air quality (AQI) indicator to 365, as reported by PTI.

What is prohibited in Gapa 2?

  • The use of coal and heating wood is prohibited, including the use of tandoors in restaurants and hotels.
  • Diesel Generator sets are prohibited, except for emergency and necessary services.
  • Construction and demolition activities, as well as industrial units with specific closure orders, cannot resume surgery.

What are the restrictions under the grap of stage 1?

  • Strict inspections of polluting vehicles, increased traffic management and emission control for industries, power plants and brick furnaces.
  • No open combustion of waste, limited use of diesel generators and lack of coal or heating wood consumption in a restaurant.
