17-year-old dead, 19-year-old in a critical condition after a Sunday shooting in St. Cloud

Update 2/3/25: Police in St. Cloud claims that the teenager died, and the 19-year-old is in a critical condition after the shooting early in the morning on the north-eastern side of the city.

Early Monday the police announced an investigation update, which began just before 3 am on Sunday at 200 block on 2nd Street northeast.

There, the officers found a 19-year-old who was shot in the corridor on the first floor of a residential building. They also found a 17-year-old who was shot and was in the staircase between the first and second floor.

17-year-old, identified as a boy from St. Cloud, died at the scene. Meanwhile, a 19-year-old man St. Joseph was taken to the hospital of St. Cloud for injuries. Their names were not published.

The police say that the suspects and the victims knew before the incident and say that it was not a random shooting. However, the police did not immediately provide any information about the suspects or had no details about what led to shooting.
