IOA, in a statement, said that “he received complaints, that some officials appointed by the India Taekwondo Federation had already determined the result of matches in 10 out of 16 weight categories long before the start of the competition.”

“The starting price is 3 Lakh for a gold medal, 2 Lakh for silver and 1 lakh bronze ”, Ioa said he was informed.

The Taekwondo director’s competition, Praveen Kumar, was replaced by S Dinesh Kumar, and 50% of the nominees “technical officials” were also replaced by duly qualified officials with an international or national certificate. The matches will be recorded video, and a team of officials nominated by the Technical Procedure Committee will be present during the four -day Taekwondo competition from Tuesday.

President IOA PT USHA said that it is shocking that the medals from the National Games were allegedly settled from the game field before the start of the competitions.

“In the Olympic Association Indian, we are involved in all our athletes and protect them from people who manipulate competition and destroy the image of the National Games.”

Acting on a complaint, a three -member Competition Committee (PMC) IOA examined the case and recommended changes. The IOA panel stated that the competition director mentioned officials and members of the Executive Committee of some state associations and a seller of equipment for choosing as volunteers specific to sports.

“It is important that we take part in the recommendations of the PMC Committee and protect the integrity of the 38th Uttarakhand National Games,” said the president of GTCC Sunaina Kumari.

“Taekwondo players contacted IOA and said that last year during the National Championships in Pondicherry they decided on eight best players and allegedly took money. We asked PMC to study this problem – said IOA official.

Taekwondo sport was under a scanner because of the two federations who claim to be an official organ. IOA does not recognize any of them.
