We are asking for your views on whether all dogs should be able to travel on the Supertram network in South Yorkshire.

Last year, the mayor of South Yorkshire Combined Authority (Sympa) returned to the SUPERTRAM System for public control, committing to improving passenger services and experience to increase the likelihood that people will take a tram.

As part of the work improvement, Sympa is now consulting with the public on changing the conditions of the carriage to find out if people want to allow all dogs to go to SUPERTRAM.

It is currently possible that dogs (except for assistant dogs) are transmitted in the SUPERTRAM system in a transfer cage.

Consultations are now open and close at noon on Monday, March 3, 2025. Everyone, including people who do not live in South Yorkshire, can participate.
