NJ Town agrees to the settlement of 750 thousand. USD after a policeman claims she was sexually harassed

The former policeman Piscataway agreed to resolve her sexual harassment and hostile trial in the work environment against the city and former police head for USD 750,000, results from court files.

The woman who worked in the Piscataway Police Department in 1996–2024 claimed that in court documents Thomas Mosier, now retired, and other officers repeated sexist and homophobic comments about her.

“You have lesbian money,” allegedly told Mosier to the officer because she was married to the same sex person and they did not have children, in accordance with the lawsuit of 2023.

The boss allegedly revealed misogytical remarks for a woman who contained: “Lolka alone” and asks if she was on a cloth “, according to the complaint filed in the Supreme Court in Middlesex.

Mosier allegedly laughed at another lesbian officer after she died of cancer and refused to discipline a male police officer who brought to the police department to the police department.

Mosier retired on October 1, 2022 for remuneration in the amount of USD 223,510 per year, according to court files. He did not answer immediately on Tuesday at the request for a comment on the settlement.
