Terror strikes Balochistan as five killed in Panjgur’s under-construction dam

An attack by unknown assailants on a dam under construction in Prome area in Panjgur district.

As per Balochistan levies — a paramilitary gendarmerie — five people were killed in the firing incident while attackers managed to escape from the under-construction site.

“Forces have cordoned off the area and started searching for the assailants,” it said.

A heavy contingent of Levies and police reached the spot. Balochistan Levies officials said that the dead bodies of the passengers were then transferred to the hospital and subsequently to their native towns in Punjab where they were buried peacefully amid the presence of thousands of mourners.
