Barnes & Noble Chicago: Grand opening of bookstore in the former Noel State Bank building in Wicker Park

CHICAGO (WLS) — New Barnes & Noble will be open from Wednesday.

The leased chain of bookstores the entire space at 1601 N. Milwaukee Avenue that originally housed the Noel State Bank building.

The building itself is over 26,000 square feet. The store is expected to occupy approximately 16,000 square meters of this space.

The Walgreens at this location closed in January 2023.

The grand opening of the Wicker Park location will take place on Wednesday at 10:00.

Authors Jeneva Rose, Jason Hammel, Donald Hyun Kiolbassa, Mindy Segal and Ruth Sprio will be on hand book signing all day long.
