The coroner has identified the 77-year-old woman who died in a hit-and-run crash in Bardstown

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The Jefferson County Coroner has released the name of the woman who died in a crash on Bardstown Road that left one person seriously injured. The accident occurred on Friday, October 25, around 1:10 p.m

Police say two men have been charged with drag racing when one of the drivers crashed into a car while traveling at speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour. A man and a woman were in the SUV that was struck. The woman in the car died on the spot as a result of her injuries. She was identified as 77-year-old Myrtle Lorraine Wacker. The man in the car was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A woman is dead and two men are in hospital after a crash on Bardstown Road Friday afternoon.

Both drivers accused of drag racing were arrested and have appeared in court since the crash.
