A Laredo family is asking for help identifying the driver involved in a recent accident that occurred over the weekend

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – A Laredo family is asking for the community’s help in identifying the driver they say caused their car to roll over multiple times.

The accident occurred early Sunday morning, October 27, at the intersection of Lomas del Sur and Cuatro Vientos.

The accident victim, Cynthia Linares, was traveling with her three children when another car suddenly tried to pass between her vehicle and the vehicle next to hers, hitting her car from behind and causing it to overturn.

Calling it a miracle, Linares hopes the driver will be found and held accountable. He urges the community to be vigilant.

“He didn’t even stop to check if everything was OK. I mean, he just left the scene. From what I know, they told me it was a white Chrysler. People helped us that day. I’m very happy they were there. I mean, God put them there at the right time,” Linares said.

Linares added that the car was a total loss and was the family’s only means of transportation.
