Former President Bill Clinton is campaigning for Harris in Michigan

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WILX) – Former President Bill Clinton was in western Michigan on Wednesday, where he battled Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz.

President Clinton spoke in Muskegon Heights, telling the crowd that he knew many Trump supporters and that they were good people.

“If you lived next door to them and your house caught fire, they would come and put out the fire and help you get your kids out and do whatever. But they are obsessed with feeling that we are somehow distant from them, and they think it is okay to belittle, divide and attack. This is crazy,” Clinton said.

Former President Clinton also planned to go to South Haven and Benton Harbor.
