BURLINGAME, Kan. (WIBW) – A woman was taken to a local hospital after she was injured in a single-vehicle crash on rain-soaked Interstate 335 along the Kansas Turnpike in Osage County Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 2 p.m. Wednesday on northbound I-335, about 20 miles southwest of Topeka.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2013 Toyota Highlander SUV hydroplaned during heavy rain and struck the center concrete barrier wall.
