At least five firefighters have been killed and four injured in wildfires in California

According to reports, five people died and four firefighters were injured fires in southern California to burn and devastate the area.

According to California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, five fires are currently raging uncontrollably Los Angeles More than 29,000 acres were burned in the county. The Palisades and Eaton fires, which started on January 7, include: apparently still at 0%. The Hurst Fire, which started the same day, has burned more than 855 acres and is 10% contained.

Two fires that started on January 8 also caused significant damage in a short period of time. The Lydia Fire has burned 348 acres and is 40% contained, while the Sunset Fire has burned 43 acres and is 0% contained.

At least five people have died in the Eaton Fire in Northeast Los Angeles, according to NBC 4 Los Angeles. The circumstances of their deaths have not yet been revealed. Also, Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone confirmed to local media that people who did not heed evacuation warnings suffered “multiple serious injuries.” Marrone gave no details on how many were injured.

More than 130,000 people were forced to evacuate due to the fires, and many people lost their homes. Many stars took to social media to report that their homes had been destroyed in a fire. According to data, over 2,000 objects have burned down so far Los Angeles Times.

Above 7,500 firefighters were deployed to help contain the fires, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) said in a post on Page X. He also asked residents to listen to officials and heed evacuation warnings.

“More than 7,500 firefighters are on the ground and working with local and federal partners to respond to ongoing historic wildfires in California,” Newsom said. “Southern California residents, please remain vigilant tonight. Listen to local authorities and be ready to evacuate if you find yourself near affected areas.”
