The name of the woman who died in the I-75 crash has been released

ROCKCASTLE, Ky. (WKYT) – The name of the woman who died in a crash in Rockcastle County has been released.

Sally Broesell, 77, died Wednesday evening.

The Rockcastle County Sheriff’s Office says the incident occurred Wednesday evening on I-75 North near mile marker 71.

In a news release, Kentucky State Police say Broesell was driving when she lost control of her car.

He hit a tractor-trailer and the concrete road.

The sheriff’s office and Kentucky State Police responded to the scene.

Northbound was closed but has since reopened.
