Sandro Muhlach responds to the formal case brought by the Department of Justice against GMA Network independent contractors

Actor Sandro Muhlach has broken his silence on his recent legal battle, expressing gratitude to the justice system for formally recognizing his sexual assault allegations.

Muhlach’s statement came after The Department of Justice has filed a criminal case against two former television consultants, Jojo Tawasil Nones and Richard Dode Cruzin connection with alleged abuse.

In an emotional post on his Instagram Story, Muhlach reflected on the courage it took to come out, sharing the personal difficulty of revealing his experiences as a survivor of sexual assault and harassment.

“It was very difficult for me to tell my story – to come forward and tell the public that I experienced sexual assault and abuse,” Muhlach wrote. He shared how many victims’ fears about speaking out became a reality, with the added burden of online criticism and bullying he experienced in the process.

“’Yung mga kinakatakutan mangyari ng biktima, nangyari are similar. In addition to the trauma I experienced… I also had to endure online bullying and harsh and cruel criticism,” he explained. Muhlach noted that some accused him of dishonesty due to a perceived lack of evidence, which deepened his struggle to maintain calm and self-confidence.

Despite these challenges, the actor said he did not lose hope and added that his conviction was confirmed by the formal consideration of his case by the justice system. “Finally, our justice system has recognized the truth,” he confirmed.

In closing, Muhlach encouraged other survivors to stand up for themselves and not be silenced. “To all victims of rape and sexual abuse, I hope you can find strength in your stories.

The case has generated significant public interest, and Muhlach’s statement has sparked further dialogue about support for survivors and the personal challenges they face in seeking justice.
