Dunkirk man injured in snowmobile accident | News, sports, work

STOCKTON – An adult male is recovering after a snowmobile accident.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, on Thursday around 11:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to a reported snowmobile accident resulting in personal injury in the area of ​​Munger Road in Stockton. The investigation revealed that a single snowmobile operator was traveling northbound on Munger Road in a wooded area when he lost control of the snowmobile, resulting in the accident.

The operator, described as a 38-year-old Dunkirk man, was then transported to UPMC Hamot with non-life-threatening injuries. The sheriff’s office was assisted by Chautauqua County EMS, the North Lake Fire Department and the Stockton Fire Department.
