Moberly police arrest a man on suspicion of sexual assault involving a child under 12 years old

Moberly, Mo. – On Friday, the Randolph County Attorney’s Office charged a Mexican, Missouri man with molesting a child under the age of 12.

According to a press release from the Moberly Police Department, on January 2, 2025, officers responded to a report of a sexual assault involving a child in the 100 block of Wightman Street.

Following an MPD investigation into the incident, 32-year-old Hector Marcos-Perez was identified and taken into custody.

Marcos-Perez is currently in the Randolph County Jail on $100,000 bail.
