Bystander hit in the head during shooting at downtown Pa. store: police

Police said a bystander was injured in a shooting in Lancaster County and taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The shooting took place on Friday around 9 p.m. in the parking lot at ul Getty Mart on Manor Street in Lancaster Township.

According to local police, at least seven people from three vehicles were involved in the incident and they are trying to identify the suspects.

Police said a group of people were arguing in the store’s parking lot when at least three of them began shooting at each other. Police say one of the shooters may have been shot.

Police said a 20-year-old woman who was not involved in the fight was shot in the head. Police said he remained in a critical condition at Lancaster General Hospital following surgery.

The shooters left the scene in a black Honda Civic, a gray SUV and a black minivan.
