Corston assault victim found in Bristol

We are appealing for witnesses, footage and information after a teenage boy was attacked in Corston and later found on Broomhill Road in Brislington, Bristol.

The boy, 16, from Bath, was near the Corston post office and village shop at around 10.30pm on Friday, January 10, when he was attacked by a group of people.

We were alerted at around 11pm and the boy was located on Broomhill Road, Brislington, Bristol, at around 12.30pm on Saturday 11 January. He was taken to hospital where he remains treated for injuries that are serious but not life-threatening.

Officers believe it was a targeted attack and are following up on the positive results of the investigation.

Detective Inspector Stuart Newsham said: “We are still in the very early stages of our investigation and are keen to hear from anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dash cam footage of Corston Lane and Meadlands between 10pm and 11pm or Broomhill Road.” from 11:30 p.m. on Friday to 1:00 a.m. on Saturday.

“If you have seen or have footage of anything that may be relevant, or any other information that may be helpful, we would like to hear from you.”
