OPP are looking for a suspect in an alleged assault in Huntsville

Police are looking for a suspect in connection with an alleged armed robbery that occurred Wednesday evening in Huntsville.

According to Huntsville OPP, officers responded to reports of an assault involving a knife and possible firearm around 10 p.m. on King William Street. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a 34-year-old Caucasian male, six feet tall and weighing 50 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes. Police add that he frequents the Huntsville area.

The incident is believed to be isolated. However, the police remind the public to remain vigilant and ask for help from all people who have information about the suspect’s whereabouts.
