A man arrested after hitting and beating a woman

A man in his 20s has been arrested after a woman was intentionally hit and attacked in Birmingham.

The incident occurred on the roads surrounding the mailbox just after midnight on January 2.

West Midlands Police said there was a fight involving several people at the hotel reception shortly before the woman was hit.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have any information to contact them and would also like to speak to the woman who was attacked to make sure she is OK.
