NYPD: Armed robbers stole ,000 worth of lottery tickets across New York

NEW YORK, NY – The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying multiple people wanted for questioning in connection with a citywide robbery that netted nearly $7,000 in lottery tickets in just over two weeks. the targets were New York stores in Manhattan and Queens.

On December 26, police reported that two unidentified people entered a commercial premises located across from 46 8 Avenue and simulated the use of a firearm. The attackers then forcibly removed lottery tickets worth approximately $2,100 before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction around 8:30 p.m. No injuries were reported.

According to authorities, on January 8 at 8 p.m., a group approached the store in front of 31-02 Broadway and displayed a firearm. The attackers then forcibly took lottery tickets worth approximately $4,800 before fleeing on foot to Broadway Station. No injuries were reported.

The individuals sought are men with medium complexion.
