In October 2024, Ashley filed a lawsuit claiming that Combs planned a gang attack on her because she commented on the death of rapper Tupac Shakur. She claimed it all started after she met one of Combs’ friends at a bar and later got an invitation to what appeared to be a trap party.
Ashley claims that on the day of the incident, Combs threatened her with a knife, drugged her and sexually assaulted her using the television remote control. She also accused Khorram, Combs’ chief of staff, of sending threatening messages.
Combs’ lawyers rejected the allegations, calling them “fabricated” and criticized the documentary as “irresponsible journalism.” They stated: “This document repeats and spreads the same lies and conspiracy theories that have been directed against Mr. Combs for months.”
Diddy’s legal team added: “It’s disappointing to see NBC and Peacock acting like unethical tabloid reporters. “A documentary that gives proven liars and opportunists a platform to make criminally false claims is a perfect example of irresponsible journalism.”
