From an initial review of his devices, it appears that Jabbar was also looking for information about previous shootings in New Orleans, the famous Mardi Gras celebrations, and even how to get to the balcony on the famous Bourbon Street.

According to the latest FBI update, at least 57 people were injured and 14 killed in the attack.

The 42-year-old killer, who became a more devout Muslim in 2022, conducted some of his Internet searches in the hours just before he drove a rented truck into revelers in the city’s historic French Quarter in a New Year’s Eve attack, the feds added.
