Police say a boy was shot and killed Thursday night in Mobile

A boy was fatally shot Thursday evening in Mobile, police said.

Officers responded to the 4200 block of Arcturus Lane on Thursday just before 7 p.m. on a report of a shooting, police spokesman Blake Brown said.

At the scene, officers found the victim – identified only as a male juvenile – dead from a gunshot wound.

As of Thursday night, police had not identified any suspects.
