A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Oahu’s North Shore

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu emergency officials say a motorcyclist is in critical condition after a crash on Oahu’s North Shore.

The services reported that a motorcycle and a passenger car were involved in the accident. The incident occurred around 4:45 p.m. on Kamehameha Highway near Ke Nui Road.

Emergency medical services said a 26-year-old man was treated and taken to a nearby hospital. The condition of the woman driving the car is said to be stable.

Authorities initially closed Kamehameha Highway toward Haleiwa, then closed both directions shortly before 8 p.m.

The highway reopened at 9 p.m
