The man kills a 10-year-old son, poisoning water in Ahmedabad, arrested: cops


Ahmedabad:

The man allegedly killed his 10-year-old son, giving him water mixed with sodium nitrite, poisonous substance, the police informed on Wednesday.

Kalpesh Gohel (47), who did not realize his original death plan after killing his children, was arrested after the incident on Tuesday, said the official from the police station in Bapunar, adding the cause of the crime he was not yet clear.

Gohel initially passed on to his son OM and the 15-year-old daughter Jiya to prevent vomiting, in his residence in the Bapunars in Ahmedabad, he said that the official, quoting the girl’s statement.

Then he allegedly gave his son water mixed with sodium nitrite, said the clerk.

The man planned to die suicide after poisoning his children, but developed cold feet after he witnessed the deteriorating state of his son and escaped from the house, said the official.

Shortly after drinking water, the boy began to vomit. His family members threw him to a private hospital, in which doctors announced him the deceased, said the official.

Gohel lived with two children, wife and parents. First, he gave a medicine to his two children, and then water mixed with chemicals with his son when his wife left, according to FI.

While his daughter was not affected, his son began to vomit and pale. The company said that the man ran out of the house, leaving a cell phone.

The girl called an ambulance, and the boy was taken to a private hospital, where he was recognized as deceased, he said.

The girl told her uncle Yogesh Gohel, who is the applicant in this matter that her father gave her and her siblings “medicine” to prevent vomiting, said Fir.

After the arrest, the man confessed to mixing 30 gm of sodium nitrites in the water given to his son, said Fir.

Was reserved on the basis of section 103 para. 1 (murders) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

The official said that the child’s body was sent to the autopsy, and further investigation was in progress.
