Huddersfield pcso cleaned of sexual assault on colleagues

A police community support officer (PCSO) was found guilty of sexual assault on two colleagues.

43 -year -old Paul Simpkins from Huddersfield denied three cases of sexual assault that took place in February and July 2022.

Simpkins, PCSO based in the Kirlees district, was cleaned of all credits by the jury on Wednesday after the trial in the Crown Court in Bradford.

West Yorkshire police said that his suspension of service would now be checked along with all proceedings on improper proceedings.

Simpkins was accused of unwanted contact with a friend in a taxi and a bar and improperly touching another man with whom he worked in a hotel room.

He told the trial that the first applicant also touched him while the second incident did not occur.
