No serious injuries, the driver quoted after the Sioux City school bus, involved in the accident

Sioux City (KTIV) – Police say that on Wednesday morning no serious injuries were reported when the bus with the Sioux City Community school district was involved in the accident.

It happened near 22nd Street at Business Highway 75 in Sioux City and included two vehicles and a school bus.

According to the police, there were 20 students at the time of the disaster. On the spot, parents said KTIV that the students were on their way to Unity Elementary, just a few blocks from the place of disaster.

No serious injuries were reported among the drivers. The 49-year-old school bus driver Diana Porterfield was cited for the lack of stopping with a clear distance.

For some time, street traffic fell into one lane in the area, and witnesses help directly. He has returned to normal since then.
