50 people killed in Mali Convoy Ambush

At least 50 people were killed near the north -eastern city of Gao in Mali after armed attackers planted their convoy and escort of the army.

It is said that the attackers hit near the village of Kobe, about 30 km from Gao in the region where the entities of the Islamic State and Al -Qaida have been operating for over a decade, destabilizing Mali and his neighbors Burkina Faso and Niga.

A local official who talked to reporters provided anonymity because of security fears said that people jumped out of vehicles to escape, adding that there were many dead and injured civilians.

According to Ustarz, there were 56 bodies in the hospital in GAO, emphasizing that there was also an unknown number of military victims.
