A cooking advisory has been issued in Ohio. Schools closed on Friday

OHIO CO., Ky. (WFIE) – Ohio County school officials say schools will close on Friday, November 1.

They say there is a water leak in the city of Beaver Dam and many schools have no water.

School officials say it could take several hours for the water to be restored.

Beaver Dam officials issued a boil advisory around 5:45 a.m. due to a water main break on Goshen Road.

This advisory applies to all residents of Goshen Road and East 5th Street, north of McDonald’s.
