Billionaire Mark Cuban coaches Donald Trump and the UFC’s Dana White on inflation and tariffs

NBA owner, billionaire Marek Kubańczyk supports Vice President Kamala Harris in this month’s presidential election against former president and candidate of the Republican Party Donald Trumpand his support for Democrats is growing.

The Cuban was busy setting the record straight Trump — his policies and how they affected real working-class people.

The workshop continued Wednesday, when Cuban pointed to what he calls the “source” of inflation in the United States, which currently stands at 2.4%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

“You have to look at the source of inflation,” Cuban said News National Town Hall panel in which ESPN experts participated Stephen A. Smith. “I will tell you exactly when the first inflation kernel was established, which was in April 2020. It was exactly at the beginning of the pandemic. Gasoline prices were $1.87 (per gallon). Oil companies turned to Donald Trump and said, “We are overwhelmed by gas prices at $1.87.” Please go to Saudi Arabia and your friend MBS (Mohammed bin Salman), go to Russia and your friend Vladimir Putin and ask them to cut production. So he had a choice. Is he helping his oil company buddies, or is he helping keep gas prices low?

“You already know what he did. … He went to MBS and Putin and said, “Please reduce production.” This was the day inflation began. You can also track minute by minute, hour by hour, month by month, year by year, quarter by quarter that as long as this agreement was in force, until 2022, gas prices increased. Once the agreement was reached and production changed, gasoline prices began to fall and inflation fell. So you can take what you want and blame the Biden administration, but it started with Donald Trump.”

The Cuban also checked out the UFC CEO and president Dana Whitewho didn’t know what he was getting into when he agreed to debate the Mavericks’ minority owner in front of a national audience.

White who introduced Trump at the Republican National Convention and spoke at the infamous Trump rally at Madison Square Gardenwas astonished to say that Harris would not have become the Democratic nominee if she had not been “thrown in” and that she and President Joe Biden had accomplished nothing in four years.

“Dana, I love you, but you are so wrong,” Cuban said. “Trump’s inflation is up 25% compared to Obama’s economy. He chose to take no action and let 100,000 people continue to die in Yemen. Talk to him about his tariffs. … He had four years to adjust tariffs to China. China kicked him (expletive) and took him to court because he didn’t know how tariffs worked and it was hurting the economy.

“The economy was growing and was so hit by tariffs that his Federal Reserve appointee, Jerome Powell, had to cut interest rates three times. And then we come to the real point of reckoning: the pandemic. And what does he do? He says if we’re not testing people, it means the virus didn’t actually happen. It withholds resources, except for Vladimir Putin, to prevent people from recovering. This is not a talented president, Dana. He didn’t do anything. What he got, he inherited.”

Many believe Cuban is preparing to run as an independent candidate in 2028. But in the meantime, it appears he is doing his best to present the facts and preserve democracy.
