The Eugene Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying an unidentified woman, also known as “Jane Doe.”

According to EPD, on October 17, 2024, a woman was arrested for trespassing in the 100 block of Blk. from W. 11.

Police say the woman was taken to the Lane County Jail as unidentified and was believed to be homeless and suffering from mental health issues at the time.

Before EPD releases her from jail, they are seeking the public’s help in identifying her.

She remains unidentified and Eugene police are seeking the public’s help in identifying her because she may be vulnerable and at risk and in need of unknown services once she is released from prison.

When police asked for her name, she identified herself as Lux Jupiter, EPD said, but no information about that name was found. The department said there were no fingerprint matches or other information found in the records that would help identify her.

Police describe the woman as a white female with shoulder-length blonde hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Jed McGuire at [email protected]or call 541-682-6308.
