A few months ago, human remains were found and identified as a 49-year-old Portland man

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – After human remains were found Aug. 25 in Northeast Portland, police announced Friday that the person had been identified as a 49-year-old Portland man.

The body was found near Northeast Fremont Street and Northeast 105th Avenueand then the PPB stated that due to the condition of the remains, it was not certain whether the person in question was a man or a woman.

The Portland Police Bureau said one person was killed in a motorized scooter crash early Friday morning in Southeast Portland.

On Friday, police said it was Vincent A. Buttafuoco. The cause of the man’s death is under investigation, and according to the police, the case is still open.
