LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – An Eisenhower football player is in the hospital after an accident.

The accident occurred on Saturday, October 26, near highway No. 7 and a trail road.

As a result of the crash, player Kobe Devot was seriously injured and had to be airlifted to OU Medical for treatment.

In a Facebook post, Kobe’s supporters say his recovery is progressing steadily and that he is communicating with his family.

This week, the EHS Football Booster Club announced a campaign to support Kobe. The club is selling T-shirts for $25 to raise funds for the family.

The deadline for placing orders is November 15. Information can be found on the EHS Facebook page.
