Oahu grand jury indicts suspect in officer-involved shooting in Kalihi

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – An Oahu grand jury indicted a suspect on Thursday in an officer-involved shooting in Kalihi.

Blane Apostadiro, 47, was charged Thursday with eight counts for allegedly firing shots from a stolen car Sunday at Kuhio Park Terrace.

Police returned fire and Apostadiro was seriously injured.

Apostadiro is being held without bail on charges including terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and drug and firearms offenses.
