Pregnant woman 'forced' to clean murdered husband's bloody bed in Madhya Pradesh; the hospital responds
In Madhya Pradesh’s Dindori district, a pregnant woman was forced to cleanse her husband’s blood after he was murdered over a land dispute. Three family members were killed by relatives, leading to arrests and a constant search for suspects.

BHOPAL:A pregnant woman she was reportedly forced to clean up her husband’s bloody bed after he suffered injuries sustained during a brutal attack on his family in Dindori district, Madhya Pradesh.
On Thursday evening, three family members – a man and his two sons – were murdered by a group of 25 people following a long-running land dispute in the usually quiet village of Lalpur Sani.
The deceased were identified as Dharam Singh Marawi (65) and his sons Raghuraj Marawi (40) and Shivraj Marawi (40), who were reportedly murdered by their relatives. Shivraj died soon after being taken to Gardasari Health Center for treatment.
On Friday, a video appeared online showing Shivraj’s wife, Roshni, who is five months pregnant, being forced to clean the bathroom. bloody bed immediately after her husband’s death.
After the video went viral, the hospital staff received a show cause notice.
However, Dr. Chandrashekhar Tekam of the health center told the media that Roshni had picked up blood-soaked pieces of cloth in an attempt to collect evidence and was not explicitly instructed to clean the bed.
The attack occurred on Thursday around 4:30 p.m., when the victims along with Ramraj Marawi – the only surviving member of the family – went to confront relatives who were harvesting paddy rice on their land. The field, located about 300 meters from their house, was awarded to them by a court judgment in 2018.
As they approached the field, they were attacked by a crowd of 20-25 attackers armed with sticks, rods, axes and sickles.
The victims were beaten and chased for almost an hour. Ramraj, who sustained serious injuries, managed to escape and call for help. The attackers, identified as Ghanshyam Marawi, Kanwal Singh Marawi, Patiram Marawi and Kartik Marawi, are relatives of the victims. Three others – Son Singh, Sarwan and Jahar Singh – are still on the run.
Local police have arrested four identified suspects and are actively searching for the remaining three. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code involving murder.
The third son’s condition remains critical and he is currently undergoing treatment at the district hospital.
