Woman seriously injured, 1 arrested after shooting in El Dorado

EL DORADO, Kan. (KWCH) – A woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition and one person is in police custody after a domestic violence-related shooting in El Dorado.

A Butler County dispatch manager said police responded to the 800 block of West 3rd Street just before 7 p.m. As of 8:30 p.m., a heavy police presence remained in the area while an investigation into what led to the shooting.
