A woman allegedly attacked her husband and his pregnant girlfriend with a pickup truck | News

On Friday, a 58-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of numerous crimes.

Just after 11 a.m. Friday, Guam Police Patrol officers responded to a report of a reckless driver operating a Dodge Ram in Dededo. The police arrived at the scene and found damage to the front and right sides of the vehicle and a punctured left tire.

A man approached the police and identified himself as the husband of Mary Castro Flores. He said Flores used a Dodge truck to ram his Jeep several times while he was transporting his pregnant girlfriend.

He stated that although court documents show that he and Flores are still married, they are in the process of separating. He said his wife knew his girlfriend was pregnant, after which he went to the Dededo police station for questioning.

Police then observed a woman, later identified as Flores, removing items from the truck. They approached her and then took her to the Dededo police station for an interview.

According to the judge’s report, the man and his girlfriend had previously driven past Flores, who was at Fine’s store. He then saw Flores following him and tried to sneak away from his wife, but was unsuccessful, the report said. He said his wife stopped next to him, made a gesture and tried to make contact, but he did not make contact.

The complaint says he turned right and was rammed approximately six times. He said he was afraid for his and his girlfriend’s safety. He said that the truck pushed him off the road and that he was also afraid because he thought his wife had a gun and could shoot him.

Police also met with Flores’ son, whose minor daughter was in the truck with Flores during the chase, and the minor recalled that they hit the man’s Jeep several times, according to the complaint.

The report states that during the interview, Flores stated that she suspected her husband was cheating on her because she found a condom, a pregnancy test, and a Rhino pill in the trash can in his bathroom.

She said she became angry when she saw him with a woman near Fine’s store, so she followed him and struck his vehicle multiple times. The report says she regrets endangering her granddaughter, who was traveling in the backseat.

Flores was arrested Friday and charged with aggravated assault and assault on an unborn child, both second-degree felonies, domestic violence as a third-degree felony, and reckless conduct as a misdemeanor.
