The Scottish comedian and Donald Trump antagonist was 63 years old

Scottish comedian JaneyGodley died at the age of 63, the family announced.

In 2021, Godley was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and in September of that year she announced that she had “run out of chemotherapy.”

Godley, a long-time comedian and writer based in her native Scotland, gained wider fame during the pandemic by making comedy videos that spoofed coronavirus news briefings given by Scottish political leader Nicola Sturgeon.

She previously made international headlines in 2016 when she held a sign outside a building reading “Trump in Action.” Donald Trumpat Turnberry Golf Resort before being elected President of the United States.

Despite her health condition, Godley gained popularity again on social media last month by sharing a photo of herself holding a T-shirt that read: “Trump still active.”

In the post’s caption, she wrote, “The gift that keeps on giving!”
