A pedestrian was killed in a nighttime collision

The PSNI said a pedestrian has died following a road collision in Co Armagh.

Police said they received a report of concerns for the safety of a man on Cullaville Road, Crossmaglen, just after 11.50pm on Friday.

Upon arrival, the officers found a man lying on the road with serious injuries.

The PSNI says CPR was performed until paramedics arrived, but the man was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Detective Inspector Michael Winters appealed to anyone traveling on Cullaville Road in the area of ​​the collision on Friday who witnessed anything or captured dashcam footage to contact officers.

Cullaville Road was closed on Saturday afternoon.
