Former Cypress Bay student among two victims of Halloween shooting in Orlando

MIAMI – A former Cypress Bay student was among two people killed in a shooting during Halloween celebrations in Orlando, the city of Weston confirms.

The city published the information on social media “X” platform that Tim Schmidt Jr. he was one of the victims.

The people killed were a 25-year-old and a 19-year-old.

Six of the injured were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center and are in stable condition. He added that they were people aged 19 to 39. A 26-year-old woman also suffered injuries after she was trampled by a crowd trying to escape, police said Friday.

The police published the video from street security cameras and a police body camera showing two shootings and the arrest of a suspect at a second shooting scene.
